Why is the Darfur situation at the ICC?

My fifth long-form cartoon on the ICC trials has been published on!!!

The ICC is the International Criminal Court, an intergovernmental organization and international tribunal that sits in The Hague, in the Netherlands.

Understanding what’s going on in the international justice field might be tough sometimes, especially for who’s not well-read on the topic. So, I thought it useful to work on some graphic articles to provide readers the basic infos on the situations on which the ICC is working.

Eexcellent, Mr. Wilders

So let me tell you who’s Geert Wilders and why he’s the protagonist of my bi-weekly cartoon for “Quasi-Serious” at

Geert Wilders is the leader of the PVV, the Partij voor de Vrijheid, that is, Party for Freedom, a right-wing Dutch political party. As many other xenophobic parties, the PVV is gaining a large consensus, profiting from the EU’s difficulties in coping with the migrants fluxes. It is also, as many other xenophobic parties, spreading around overly conservative, extremist and anti-democratic ideas (and I’m being really polite here). So much for a party for freedom, mh?

A day at the new ICC headquarters

While at the ICC the trial against William Ruto and Joshua arap Sang was seeing its first session of the year, I took my time to walk around the new building the ICC moved in.
