My cartoons, “Aim High” (biggest on the right bottom corner of the image) and “Syrian Sarin” are part of the exhibition of the Inktspotprijst 2018, which selects the 100 best Dutch cartoons of the year.
The exhibition is hosted by the Amsterdam library, the The Hague library and the Limburg Museum!

Libex Awards 2018, 2nd Prize
Libex Awards 2018, 2nd Prize
I have been awarded with the second prize at the political cartoons contest Libex 2018. The contest, featuring more than 250 cartoonists, for a total of 560 cartoons submitted, was held by the Librexpression Centre, an international organization for freedom of expression.
The award ceremony took place in Conversano, during the Lector in Fabula festival, a 3-day event dedicated to information, democracy and debates on political issues.

Two of my drawings have been admitted to the final stage of the Inktspotprijs 2018, the award held by Stichting Pers & Prent that selects the best Dutch cartoon of the year.

Sofia’s Story
Sofia, a lawyer and a former prostitute, works in the association Avec Nos Aînées, that helps aged prostitutes to get through the maze of public administration – social security issues, health care problems, etc.
